With the store settings, you can set up the essential parameters of your Local Express partner store or stores. You can customize contact details, work hours, location, and description, and change the store status for each of your stores.
- After you click a store, you will be redirected to the Local Express Partner Web → Operation → Store Information page. You can also reach the same page by manually going to the Local Express Partner Web → Operation → Store Information.
- You can see all your stores with their names, contact details, and status here. The Premium Domain column shows the white-label URLs of each store.
- You can create a new store by clicking the “Add New Store” button in the top-right corner of the page.
- Click an individual store to view and change its details.
Store Contact Details
- In the contact details section, you can change the Store Title, Contact Person, Email address, and Phone Number.
- The Store Title is how your store is called across the Local Express Partner Web and, most importantly, how it is shown to customers.
- The Contact Person is the name of a person who will be contacted by the customer via phone or email.
- Email is the store’s contact email. All email notifications from the Local Express Partner Web and customer messages submitted via the Contact Us form will be sent to this email address.
- Phone number is a phone number that customers will use to contact your store. You can add extra phone numbers by clicking the “Add Phone” button.
- Open Hours is a setting that allows you to set the business days and hours for every store. This schedule can be configured by several sets of rules that are applied at the same time.
In the example above, store delivery will be available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Store Location Details
- In the location details section, you can change the Store’s Country, State, Address, Timezone, Store Categories, Languages, Default Language, Description, and Notes.
- The Country and the State are where the store is located. The Country and State are used when the customers search for the stores at the Local Express Marketplace, and when the stores are suggested to them based on the customer’s current location.
- The Address is also used during the customer’s search and affects the stores shown in the customer’s vicinity. The Address also has an impact on the store delivery settings. If the store has no specific delivery zones defined, the delivery radius has a center at the store’s exact location.
- The Timezone is the time zone the store is located in. The open hours, order preparation times shown to the customer and the order delivery time in the Local Express Partner Web and Local Express Driver App are shown in the time zone of the store they belong to.
- The Store Categories show the product categories a store offers. These categories are used when customers search for stores and work as tags to help find the most relevant products. You can select several Store categories at the same time.
- The Languages are the languages your store will be translated into for customers. These languages are used for automated translations and help customers from different locations to find the stores most relevant to them.
- The Default Language is a language used in the store by default if a customer has no language preferences.
- The Description is a summary of the store and contains general and promotional information about the store. This Description is shown in the Local Express Marketplace when a customer clicks the “About Store” button to see the store details.
- Notes are information about the store that is only visible to the Local Express partner. You can leave short notes with relevant information about a store.
Store Status
The Store Status controls whether or not the store is currently working and available for customers.
- You can select the Active, Disable, or Coming Soon status.
- If you want to temporarily close the store for maintenance, resupply, holidays, or any other reason, you can set its status to Disabled. In this case, it will not be listed in the Local Express Marketplace, and the customers will see the “Sorry, seems like the store is unavailable at the moment. Please, come back later.” message when they try to reach the store’s website.
- The “coming soon” status keeps the store hidden from the customers, so they will be redirected to the Local Express Marketplace's main page when trying to reach the store’s website.
