Dark Store

The Dark Store setting in the LE partner app allows you to use age restrictions on certain product categories of your store and adds the age verification steps for the purchase and delivery process. 

• To enable the Dark Store mode, go to Operations → Delivery Options of your store and find the General Options category.

• When you toggle the Enable Dark Store, you can specify the Age Verification, Date Format, and Minimum Verification Age. After you enable the Dark Store mode, you can mark specific product categories, such as requiring age verification. To do so, go to Catalog → Categories → your store then select the category you want to make age-restricted and scroll down to the Category Options section. 

• Toggle the Age Verification and Save changes. Now all the products that belong to this category will require age verification when the customer checks out the order with such products, and age verification by the driver with capturing the ID upon delivery.
