Depending on the Local Express store policy, the store may require you to collect a customer’s signature. Hand the smartphone over to the customer so they can leave their signature on the touch screen (within the signature frame).
- If the payment for the order is in cash, you will see the total amount of the order and your tips. Take the cash from the customer and check the “I have received the payment in cash” checkbox.
- If there are age-restricted products in your delivery (alcohol, tobacco products, etc.), you need to receive the age verification from the customer. Take a picture of their ID card and add a message (optional). After that, click the “UPLOAD” button at the bottom of the screen.
- It is also possible that you will need to deliver the orders to a specific address without meeting the customer (leave the packs at the door). In this case, you may need to take a photo of the delivered order. Make sure the app has access to your camera,
- so you can take photos. You can also leave an optional message about the delivery (e.g. no one at home). Tap the “UPLOAD” button after you have added a photo and a message (optional).
- After that, the order will be considered delivered, and you will see the “THANK YOU” screen. Tap the “GO TO ORDERS” button to return to the main menu.
