With the company settings, you can set up the essential parameters of your Local Express partner store or stores. You can customize the signup and checkout for different device types, receipt printing, notifications, and stock flow.
- To access the company settings, go to the Local Express Partner Web → Company → Settings. From here, you can configure the general settings of your entire company (including all the stores).
Guest checkout
Here, you can configure the checkout availability for guests on different device types.
- If you Enable the checkout, users on the web or mobile app can complete all the purchase steps: put the products in the cart and check out.
- The Disabled - cart available mode allows guests to see the prices and put the products in the cart, but they can’t go to the checkout without signing in.
- The Disabled - cart unavailable doesn’t allow guests to put products in the cart at all.
- The Disabled - cart unavailable - hide prices shows the products with the hidden prices.
Allow Age-Limited Products
- The Allow Age-Limited Products toggle enables the logic for special product categories for age-restricted products (alcohol products, tobacco products, etc.) to be purchased by guests. If the toggle is on, guests can complete orders with these products without signing up.
- However, the non-registered customers (guests) will have to follow the regular age verification process - enter the date of birth in the checkout and provide the ID to the delivery driver so they can take a picture (if it is enabled in the Partner web → Operation → Delivery).
The Sign-Up settings determine if the non-registered customers using the different device types can access the sign-up process and become registered customers. If the toggle is off, the guest can not register on a Web or Mobile App.
Printing
The printing options help you configure if the Universal Product Code (UPC) of each product in the order will be printed on the customer’s and partner’s receipts.
- When the Print UPC for the customer is enabled, the UPC will be printed for each product item in the customer’s receipts printed by the kiosks, and when manually generating receipt .pdf file in the LE Partner Web → Orders → Store → Orders → Order Details → Print.
- When the Print UPC for the partner is enabled, the UPC will be printed for each product item customer’s receipts printed by the kiosks, when manually generating receipt .pdf file in the LE Partner Web → Orders → Store → Orders → Order Details → Print, and when manually printing via the CloudPrinter in the LE Partner Web.
- Rush printing allows printing the order receipt when the order is confirmed in the store. If rush printing is disabled, the receipt will be printed based on the products and department preparation time settings.
Out of stock
With the advanced out-of-stock flow, the product will be marked as “out of stock” if it is skipped or replaced a specific number of times.
- If the toggle is enabled, you can specify the number of skips or replacements needed to consider the product as “not in stock”. Any product can be manually toggled as “in stock” or “out of stock” in the Partner app → Catalog → Products.
Notifications
Notifications help you configure the web alerts and sound alerts for when the customers have arrived for the curbside pickup.
- If you enable the Curbside pickup alert, the partner will receive a web notification when the customer scans the curbside parking slot QR code (or enters the details manually). The notifications menu will appear on the right of the page. Click it to expand and see all the curbside pickup notifications.
- You can see the notifications for all the customers who arrive to pick up their orders. At the very top of notification, you can see the parking slot name (Curbside pickup/12), the Customer’s name (John Doe), their vehicle information (Vehicle information), the store they arrived at (Your store), and their order ID.
- The Curbside pickup alert sound enables the sound alert when a new notification is received.
